Sndring

sndring.el Δ is an alternative kill-ring that stores less contents than the original Emacs kill-ring. It only stores the results of “copy” or “cut” operations bound to specific keys: here S-delete, C-insert, M-insert, S-M-insert. It is therefore less annoying when doing some editing between several “paste” operations that might affect the original kill-ring.

There are also some assorted helper functions and key bindings which you can remove in your copy.
