Another great performance by the Polish team in Artificial Intelligence
Another great performance by the Polish team in Artificial Intelligence.
A month ago, our team secured 2nd place in the world in team competitions. Now we are achieving a spectacular success in the capital of Saudi Arabia, where the 1st Individual International Olympiad of Artificial Intelligence has just concluded.
Out of 90 competitors from 22 countries, Marek Muzyka from Wrocław took second place and won the gold medal. Silver medals were awarded to Kajetan Ramsza, Filip Manijak, and Tymoteusz Stępkowski. Thanks to these excellent results, Poland took 1st place in the overall medal standings!!!
It is worth noting that the Olympiad was held as part of the international Global AI Summit organized by SDAIA, where our representatives had the opportunity to showcase to AI professionals and enthusiasts from around the world the high level of Polish education in STEM fields. On-site, the supervisors of our team were Marek Adamczyk and Antoni Czapski. At the same time, Antoni Czapski was elected to a 3-year term on the Scientific Committee of the Olympiad, which means Poland will also help shape the future of AI education globally.
Congratulations to the participants, on-site coaches, and the entire team responsible for the preparation:
