On December 7, the Central Europe Regional Contest 2025, organized by the Institute of Computer Science at Uniwersytet Wrocławski, came to an end. 

The following teams reached the top of the podium winning gold medals:

1. Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest (Péter Gyimesi, Péter Varga, Bence Deák) - 10 solved tasks

2. Uniwersytet Warszawski (Jan Gwiazda, Stanisław Karpiejczyk, Jerzy Olkowski) - 10 solved tasks

3. Uniwersytet Wrocławski (Olaf Surgut, Krzysztof Olejnik, Paulina Żeleźnik) - 9 solved tasks

4. University of Zagreb (Fran Babić, Toni Brajko, Ivan Janjić) - 9 solved tasks

The top two teams have qualified for the 50th Anniversary ICPC World Finals, while the remaining teams will have another opportunity to compete at the European Championship, which will take place early next year in Warsaw.

ICPC - International Collegiate Programming Contest is the world’s largest and longest-running competitive programming event. Each year, tens of thousands of students from hundreds of universities across multiple countries and regions participate in multi-stage qualifiers, making it one of the most prestigious academic competitions in computer science.

Congratulations to all the winners, and sincere thanks to all participants, coaches, and organizers for the fantastic atmosphere, high level of competition, and the tremendous effort that made this event possible.
