Polish National Science Centre (NCN) gives 2 millions PLN for our research projects
The National Science Center today announced the results of the OPUS 23 grant call. Two research projects by employees of the Institute of Computer Science received funding:
- Positive First Order Logic and Beyond. Some Puzzles in Database Theory. Jerzy Marcinkowski, project value: PLN 1 122 000
- Online algorithms for configuration games. Marcin Bienkowski, project value: PLN 1 055 400
OPUS 23 is a call for research projects, intended for scientists at all stages of their scientific careers. Applications are evaluated in field panels. Experts are selected by the NCN Council from among outstanding scientists, Polish and foreign. In the ST6 panel - Informatics and Information Technologies, 62 applications were submitted, 23 reached the second stage, and funding was finally granted to 9. A total of 401 million zlotys was granted to 266 projects in all disciplines.
